Princess Letizia and Spanish Fashion

The Princess is the fashionable face of the Spanish Royals, she appeared in the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List 2009 and is a regular in different style sections, especially in her native country of Spain, but also on the international press. Most of her clothes and accessories are Spanish, thus becoming the best ambassador of Spain’s fashion industry.
In the last months she’s worn plenty of Spanish fashion and brands, most notably at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, where she was a smashing success in two outfits by Felipe Varela, her favourite couturier, shoes by Magrit and a Pablo y Mayaya hat.

Since the wedding the Princess of Asturias has been mixing Felipe Varela with different, affordable Spanish brands. On May 31 she sported a new Felipe Varela outfit with colourful shoes by Paco Gil:

Another brand she likes is Ailanto, she’s been spotted wearing their clothes frequently. On June she visited the Senate and delivered journalism awards wearing this dress with a Malababa bag.
